I qualified as a chiropodist in July 1998 and went full time in October that year. I now have a busy surgery . I am a qualified trainer in Low Level Laser Therapy and use Laser extensively in the treatment of verruccae, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation, and diabetic and other circulatory problems including ulcers. Cryotherapy, Dentron Bio-Gun and Bio-mechanics feature equally high on the agenda.I have been fortunate over the last eight years in having a off-site association with a brilliant podiatric surgeon to whom I am able to refer my more problematic patients. On many occasions going to his surgery with them has broadened my own knowledge from listening, learning and discussing. |

| Before becoming a chiropodist at 61 yrs , I quite literally attended the university of life, starting out as an instrument fitter in the RAF and being subsequently involved in special effects (Superman 1 and Moonraker), magazine publishing and editing as well as being a salesman and heritage window and door restorer. Chiropody was quite a change! The challenges of the profession continue to excite and at the young age of 71yrs + I still work a 50 plus hour week.My hobbies include photography, painting and cartooning as well as Reiki healing, I am a Reiki Master, all of which prove to be of great use in the clinic. I believe in an holistic approach to chiropody and aim to give my patients top-class care coupled with total well-being. Music and toys make sure that every age group is welcome. |

Hi Peter,
Comment by eric September 15, 2010 @ 6:32 pmI have just received my William Rand, Reiki News Magazine in which your work with Reiki, and veterans suffering from PTSD is mentioned. I am a reiki master and this area greatly interests me. Do you have a web-site with recent information about your work, and any details of how your meetings have gone with the UK military authorities as regards recognition/funding of treatments/research projects?
many thanks
Eric Donnelly
